A number of loop trails lead from San Vigilio/St. Vigil in Marebbe into the romantic Val di Rudo/Rautal. At the end of the valley you will find Pederü mountain inn (tel. +39 0474 501086), which is ideal for a lunchtime rest or an afternoon break. The 24 kilometers of slopes are accessible free of charge.
One of the most spectacular cross-country trips in the area leads up the high-altitude slopes to the 2,000-meter high Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch, at18 km from San Vigilio/St. Vigil. Another option is the 6.5 km loop trail at the foot of Sas de Pütia/Peitlerkofel, which offers marvelous views of the mountain scenery.
