Ciastel de Tor Ladin Museum (in San Martino in Badia/St. Martin in Thurn)

Reinhold Messner, the local mountaineering legend, opened his fifth museum about the relationship between mountains and mankind inside the walls of Brunico/Bruneck Castle. RIPA is dedicated to mountain people all over the world, and showcases finds from Reinhold Messner's many expeditions.

South Tyrolean Folklore Museum (in Teodone/Dietenheim near Brunico/Bruneck)

This museum is known to be one of Europe's most beautiful outdoor museums. On a total surface of approximately 1,000 acres, visitors can admire century-old historical farms and stables, which are inhabited by old, traditional farm animals. At Mair am Hof farm you can see what life of the people of South Tyrol was like centuries ago.

Fanes-Sennes-Braies/Prags Nature Park House (in San Vigilio/St. Vigil)

If you would like to know more about the flora and fauna in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2009, then the Nature Park House is the perfect place for you. The modern visitors' center boasts a number of videos and interactive stops during which you can gain fascinating insight into the local nature. It is the best way to start a hike in the Nature Park with all the family.

Culturonda Dolomythos

On the occasion of the Dolomites being named a UNESCO World Heritage site, a cultural trail in South Tyrol was created, with twelve stops which demonstrate the nature and culture in the Dolomites.
