The crystal effect
The name of this mostly opaque, milky stone is derived from the ancient Greek word for moon, Selene. A special form of this crystal is the sand rose. Selenite is said to increase the ability to concentrate, has a pain-relieving and tension-relieving effect and serves as good protection in stressful situations.
